The Time Is Nowfeatured by Koko on July 14, 2024 Posted in Journal This morning, I read a stirring piece written by Gregory Pettys titled Bread and bullets: Some Southern supermarkets now sell ammo out of vending machines. Dear Greg, you pondered whether anyone even reads what you write. And I am here to say that I do, and I know others do, too. Not only do your musings inspire us to feel and notice the world around us more deeply, but they are also like rocks tossed into a pool of water. The ripples you create with your words have reached me from the other side of the planet and have risen me out of bed, even with a blazing migraine, to write a few sentiments. Thank you for waking me from a fog and leaving me with a sense of selfishness and, thus, motivation. Your words are a catalyst for change, whether you realize it or not, and your piece today was the finger that flicked the first domino, setting off a whole chain reaction. Thank you for reminding me that the world needs delight and unity more now than ever. And thank you for encouraging me to share the wisdom that beckons from within and flows through me. So far, I have only offered a few sprinkles here and there, and what the world needs now is the whole cake! The world needs all that has been baked into us—the traumas and the challenges, the insights and the dramas, and the most genuine, shadowed, and sparkling parts of our being. We came to Earth with a calling, something essential to share. We have accumulated gifts and experiences, a sacred ingredient to our offering. Your piece illuminated to me where I have idling time. Life is busy; I’m a mother and a woman who gives, does, and serves a lot. I also spend a fair amount of time thinking of things to complain about and trouble to stir up, even though I know wiser, but that’s what happens when I get distracted on the mission. Yet, even purpose resides within the seeming diversion because the truth is that whatever I am doing and however I am feeling in that moment is meaningful. Sometimes, we are conscious of where we are holding out on the world, not showing up in our most whole and brightest capacities, and sometimes, we are unconscious of it. Still, at some deeper level, or one could say higher level, too, we are aware of the inhibition. Now, equally significant is where we are astute, and when it comes to delight, open-heartness, perception, and inspiration, I have them in spades. We all have our strengths and superabundances; it’s not arrogance but humility and an honest embrace of our calling. The world calls out from within us what the world needs most. What does the world need from you today? Today, I know it needs me to write, speak, and share. I feel like the caterpillar who has already become the butterfly. I am in the cacoon, and blood is pumping into the wings that will help me fly—not for my sole joy but to pollinate joy. Some of us here are old souls, others are young or somewhere in between, and wherever we soar within the spectrum doesn’t matter so much because, at the core, we are one. We are all tendrils of energy exploring and adventuring in space, collecting tokens of learning as we grow along, living eternally. After many lifetimes of seeking enlightenment and finding it, I am here now, reawakening while reintegrating into a human society that is ripe to receive another perspective. In the past, I and other messengers were ridiculed, ostracized, and condemned. Today, we reside here on Earth again, freely extending a hand, an invitation to walk together as we journey to the peak of the mountaintop to remember our inherent oneness and reason for being. What the world needs now–more than ever–is more of what each of us carries within. Give away everything inside of you while you still can. Before passing, my friend Scotty said, “Your life is a gift. And your gifts are your gift back to life.” Wise words from a wise man. “Don’t die with your music still in you,” said Wayne Dyer. I can see him now, smiling and laughing as he shares that even as a ghost, you can still continue to share your music, but it is much more difficult for humans to hear. So, to all those in hiding, preoccupied, too busy, or afraid to share their gifts, The Time Is Now. We need all of you in your rawest, purest, and untethered forms because each sacred part matters in the whole universal weave—that’s how key you are. “There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.” Supposedly, Albert Einstein, the man of physics, said this. And he’s right; you get to choose, and the wonderful news is that you can’t choose wrong. Either way, it will lead you to the same loving awareness that we are omnipresently interconnected as one living energy. You don’t have to cross the veil to escape discord, drama, and density. You can experience harmony, peace, and well-being right now in the glorious midst of it all. Walk with me.
