A Bird’s-Eye View of Lifefeatured by Koko on June 13, 2024 Posted in Trance Mediumship Earlier this week, in my Trance Mediumship class with Tony Stockwell, a meditation bubbled up from within me. The meditation was an invitation to liberate the soul while still keeping one’s feet planted on the ground. The purpose was to experience a bird’s-eye view of life. You do not need to remember life before Earth, have a near-death experience, or crossover to gain a higher and more lighthearted perspective on life. It is possible to embody and live out that wisdom right now! Life on Earth can, at times, feel weighed down with drama, grief, and suffering. Yet when we fly above the density, even in an airplane, we catch a glimpse of the broader picture. We feel more levity, and we come to remember how all things are interconnected, woven together like a blessed tapestry. We regain a sense of divine perfection. We are freer, more at peace, and there is an inspired joy that overflows into the brightest versions of ourselves as we live out our reason for being. Fast forward, and it’s the day after the experience. I drop Bo off at his forest school, and then, out of the blue, I have the sudden impulse to poop! In my minds-eye I see The Stow House, so I drive over there in hopes of finding a bathroom. Thank God, I think as I pull into the parking lot and see a huge porta potty standing there glimmering beside a tree. I wash my hands in the portable sink outside. When I look up there is a little free library starring right back at me. The oversized mailbox is filled to the brim with books. My hand drifts over titles, landing on a skinny short one with words written in red, “Flight Plans.” I flip the book over and discover two hummingbirds, the symbol of love and joy. Between the birds is a subtitle, “A Bird’s-Eye View of Life” As I stand in awe, three elderly folks wearing hiking clothes and sun hats walk up with a small fluffy white dog. The man closest to me says, “Did you find something good?” I hold up the book, and the man in the middle says, “Wow, isn’t that true.” The woman beside him says, “That is perfect for you! What are the odds?” Later that morning, when I shared the astounding story with my trance practice group, Donnabelle said, “Now that’s going with the flow!” Stay tuned for the meditation, I will be recording and sharing it the first chance I get!
